As a singer, Jessy has starred as the principal performer on a number of singles, including ‘Is This Love’ featuring DJ Vito V, ‘Take Me I’, ‘SooGood’, ‘Start Me Up’, ‘Passe la Puck’ and ‘La Grenouille’.

This latter single is a modern-day remake of the 1979 phenomenally successful, identically titled song written, composed and performed by his grandfather, country singer André Guitar.

He also sang in the video clip of ‘Passe la Puck’ produced by Sony Black. This clip featured a number of young dancers, including singer Jacinthe and hockey player Georges Laraque, and was intended to raise money for underprivileged young people otherwise unable to practise sports.

Jessy has also enjoyed the privilege of singing for numerous organizations, events and productions.

Recent engagements include performances for Gala Triomphe, Musée Grévin-Chic Choc Montréal, Musique Plus, Sainte Justine Hospital Foundation, Fondation des CLSC du Québec, Relais pour la vie, Festival des Régates de Valleyfield, La Ronde-Adrénaline 2 and Jonquière en Musique.

Several years back, Jessy launched his own production and artistic event company: Jessy Gauthier Entertainment.

He has performed at various international productions including Footloose, Dancing and All Access. By partnering with the most renowned artists in Montreal, he has successfully created unique shows featuring choreographies worthy of the most up-to-date music videos and breathtaking singers.

Over the years, Jessy has also had the privilege of coaching or staging performances by Marie-Élaine Thibert, Andee (Star Academy), Ima, Martin Stevens and Kate Ryan, to name but a few.

Jessy Gauthier Entertainment Productions offers the greatest remixed hits with sex appeal at the forefront. The company has had the opportunity to partner with numerous corporate stakeholders over the years, namely Québécor / Groupe Archambault, L’Oréal Canada, Black Mohawck, Club 281, Yves Saint-Laurent, Redken, Laurentian Bank, Caisses Desjardins, Imperial Tobacco, Cogeco and SAQ.

Jessy Gauthier Entertainment Productions is driven by an avid desire to prioritize and respond to the unique requirements of all clients in a timely, professional manner.

In addition to his core activities, Jessy is an accomplished dancer and choreographer. He has danced in numerous television productions (‘La Fureur’, ‘L’heure de gloire’, ‘Ti-Mé Show’, etc.), performed internationally in ‘DanseSing’ (Beirut and Paris) and on Royal Caribbean cruise ships for several months running. He has coached or choreographed performances by MarieÉlaine Thibert, Ima, Andee, Martin Stevens and Kate Ryan. To remain connected with youth, Jessy presents conferences and workshops in primary and secondary schools on topics such as staying in school, and teaches dance to young people.

He recently played the role of Jeter in the musical Footloose (Just for laughs Productions) which gained critical acclaim and was cheered by audiences at the St-Denis Theatre in Montreal. This role led him to perform on various TV programs during the year, including La Voix (TVA), En direct de l’Univers (Special New Year’s Day) (Ici Radio-Canada) and Sucré Salé (TVA).

Moreover, he performed in various other musicals such as The Folies de Paris, Hollywood Melodies the movie show, Viva Casino, Star 80, The Beat Goes On, ABBA, All Access Show Band, Kanam and Cabaret Star System.

2021 got off to a strong start for Jessy Gauthier; he was approached to do a major national tour with his entire troupe in more than 30 cities in Quebec, Jessy Gauthier was tour director, animation in addition to having created the show.

2022 was also a big year for the show producer. He signed the musical review Le Fruit Défendu which he presents for the biggest evenings at the Cartier 10x30, more precisely at the new restaurant La Nuit Shanghai. You have also been able to see Jessy Gauthier's troop in several restaurants, bars and bars in Montreal, including La Voute, Le Bazart, Le Shaker, Le Balcon, Lola Lola Lolita, Le Circus, l'Aigle Noir to name a few. Jessy also signed the House of Dance choreography for the big comeback of Black & Blue which took place at Tohu. Always in the heat of the moment, he hosted the big Artys dance competition where young dancers of all styles presented breathtaking numbers.

2023 has started off strong for the multidisciplinary artist: he is currently booking dancers for Casino de Montréal events. Of note, Jessy was able to surprise her favorite comedian Lise Dion for a surprise number at La Semaine des 4 Julie.
